The final exam will take place December 6, 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM in LC 422 (the usual classroom). No notes, calculators, or other aids are permitted.

The final exam will be on material from §1-12, and §A from the text. Unlike the midterms, the final exam is cumulative and will not focus on any particular chapters we’ve covered in the class. You should be well-prepared if you are comfortable with the textbook problems from these sections (and from the corresponding parts of §23).

The tenth assignment is now available and is due at the beginning of class on Thursday, December 1.

The ninth assignment is now available and is due at the beginning of class on Thursday, November 17.

Midterm 3 will take place in class on November 10, 2022. No notes, calculators, or other aids are permitted.

The midterm will be on material from §1-9, and §A from the text; however the emphasis will be on §7-9, which was not covered on the previous midterm. You should be well-prepared if you are comfortable with the textbook problems from these sections (and from the corresponding parts of §23).

The eighth assignment is now available and is due at the beginning of class on Thursday, November 3.

The seventh assignment is now available and is due at the beginning of class on Thursday, October 27.

The sixth assignment is now available and is due at the beginning of class on Thursday, October 20.

Midterm 2 will take place in class on October 11, 2022. No notes, calculators, or other aids are permitted.

The midterm will be on material from §1-6, and §A from the text; however the emphasis will be on §4-6, which was not covered on the previous midterm. You should be well-prepared if you are comfortable with the textbook problems from these sections (and from the corresponding parts of §23).

The fifth assignment is now available and is due at the beginning of class on Thursday, October 6.
