About Me

I am an Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina in the Mathematics department. I grew up in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, did my undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, and got my doctorate at the University of British Columbia. I’ve lived in the US for the last decade.

Teaching

I have taught a wide range of courses at four different universities ranging from first-year calculus to graduate topics courses. Please see my teaching page for additional information.

Research

My research interests are in algebraic geometry. See my research page for more details or see a list of my publications and preprints. I am part of the Algebra, Geometry, and Number Theory group here and organize our seminar.

Currently, my research is partially supported by a grant from the Simons Foundation.
